SF Heroes, a disaster preparedness iPhone app for the San Francisco area was created by CosmiCube Inc. for the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management. As the populatity of gamification increases people are finding innovative ways to gamify things, from political campaigns to disaster preparedness.
With this app you can earn points & badges with check-ins at public events & locations, by completeing quizzes that test your disaster preparedness knowledge. There will also be points for scanning QR codes and a host of other activities.
