Stupeflix is a web application to make videos in a few clicks. You can import pictures and videos from your computer or from your Facebook, Picasa or Flickr account. You can add music by uploading a song or choosing one from their library. You can add voice-over by uploading a file or using computer voices that will read your text. Complete your video with text slides, captions on top of photos, transitions, maps and more. The app gives you a lot of control to help you make a video to tell a story rather than just show pictures.
Stupeflix is a web based application and you do not have to download any software. All it needs a Javascript enabled web browser and and the latest version of Adobe Flash for it to run.
Some of the features include:
Text-To-Speech: Make your content speak with integrated TTS. They have more than 50 high quality voices available in multiple languages, genders, accents.
Google Maps: Add a local dimension to your videos by dynamically integrating road maps and satellite images to videos, using the integrated Google Maps API.
Third Party APIs: Mix in content from third party APIs to add real-time, added value information to your video production.
Professional Audio Production: Mix multiple soundtracks, sound FX and voice-overs, dynamically set output levels and synchronize each audio input to your video sequence.
To try it out you don’t need to create an account. You can make as many free videos as you want. Free videos are limited to 60 seconds, and cannot be downloaded, but you can share them on Facebook or export them on YouTube, also for free.
To be able to download a video, you need to either have subscribed to a paid plan, or have purchased an upgraded version of your video (High Quality or High Definition). Free videos can be shared but cannot be downloaded.
To be able to make ads free commercial videos to promoe your business you will need either a Pro or Reseller account. The pro account costs you $299 a year and you can use your videos for your company or personal business. You cannot sell your videos to other businesses. To sell your videos you need a Reseller account which will cost you $499 a year.
